It gives me great pleasure that the students and faculty of BJ Medical college is bringing out a souvenir on the celebration of 132th year of BJ Medical College's establishment with a festival "*BJ BEATS '11*", organized on 16th -19th June 2011, attracting about 3000-3500 medical students, 700-800 resident doctors, 500-600 private practitioners from our alumni association and entire faculty of B. J. Medical College as well as Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad. To witness the most thrilling experience. B J Medical college has already made a mark in the field of Medical Education. The hard work, energy and enthusiasm of multivalent students and BJites have made many dreams come true after eight years.. “It beats, even when your heart stops” – words that express the essence of this cultural festival and spirited souls that BJ-ites are.. I am highly impressed by the spirit of BJ Beat 11 committee members in bringing and empowering the latent talents of many mega mined BJ ites.

 

Organizing blood donation drive as the part of BJ Beat’11 reflects humanitarian mission behind this fun filled festival.

 

The efforts must continue and this can be achieved to a large extent by the latent talents of the students of BJ Medical college.

 

I have no doubt that the students of BJ Medical collage have imbibed the spirit of knowledge, thereby ensuring themselves a successful professional career for service to the mankind.

 

Today I feel proud to be BJMC aluminums.
